Bonzofinance: choosing a Bonzo Vault by asset

Bonzo Finance's DEX vaults on Hedera offer single-asset and dual-asset entry into automated liquidity strategies. Both formats manage liquidity in a SaucerSwap V2 token pair. Choosing between them means matching the accepted deposit assets to the pair the strategy manages, including the exposure created by a one-asset deposit.

Single Asset DEX
One deposit asset, paired with another asset within the strategy.
Dual Asset DEX
Two deposit assets for the associated liquidity-pool strategy.

The deposit token and the underlying pair

A single-asset deposit can simplify entry because the vault accepts one asset. The resulting position still participates in paired liquidity. Bonzo Finance's interface shows how much of the deposit will be converted into the paired asset. Withdrawals return both tokens in a mix the interface displays before withdrawal.

Dual Asset DEX accepts two assets, so the relevant starting point is the particular pair the vault supports. Bonzo Finance's wider supported-asset list does not establish which combinations have a vault. The individual vault's accepted assets and strategy destination determine the applicable choice.

Vault liquidity-pool tokens represent a proportional share of the pooled strategy. The share's value follows the managed position, whose assets and value can change as the strategy operates. Both DEX formats remain exposed to impermanent loss, and earned fees may not offset that loss relative to holding the deposited assets.

How the DEX strategy manages deposited liquidity

Summary: How the DEX strategy manages deposited liquidity
Stage Contract operation Resulting position
Deposit and share issuance The vault accepts its supported single asset or asset pair and issues vault liquidity-pool tokens. The tokens represent the depositor's proportional share of the pooled strategy.
Liquidity deployment and range configuration Liquidity is routed into the associated SaucerSwap V2 pool, with liquidity ranges and configurations set automatically. The strategy manages concentrated liquidity for the underlying token pair.
Ongoing management The strategy rebalances the position and harvests yield for compounding. Liquidity management continues after the initial deposit, and harvested yield is compounded within the strategy.

HBARX and the lending-based alternative

Leveraged LST is a separate strategy involving liquid staking and borrowing. The launch post dated January 27, 2026 includes a maintenance notice marking deposits into the HBARX Leveraged LST vault as disabled. Bonzo Finance Labs' July 11, 2026 incident report also records Bonzo Lend as paused. Availability of this route requires confirmation of both the individual vault's deposit status and the operating status of its required lending market.

The documented design supplies a liquid staking token, such as HBARX, to Bonzo Lend as collateral. The vault borrows the underlying base asset, such as HBAR, stakes the borrowed asset for more liquid staking tokens, and supplies those tokens to Bonzo Lend. This adds collateralized borrowing to the liquid staking position.

The launch post describes withdrawals unwinding those operations in reverse, with the liquid staking token swapped through SaucerSwap instead of unstaked through its provider. That substitution is intended to bypass the staking provider's cool-down period; it is specific to the described Leveraged LST withdrawal route.

The July 11 incident report described Bonzo Vaults as unaffected by the oracle exploit. That product-level finding is separate from the HBARX strategy's maintenance notice and does not confirm that a lending-dependent vault has reopened for deposits.
